Scarlet Gruber is the daughter of actress Astrid Gruber and singer-songwriter Gabriel Fernández, el Chamo. She started her artistic career as a professional classical ballet dancer from a very young age, until she suffered an ankle injury that led her to retire. At 18, she moved more towards acting. She studied dramatic art at the Luz Columba International Center for Actoral Training (CIFALC) in Venezuela and in Miami, she also studied psychology for two years, but then abandoned them.

She made her acting debut in 2010 with a supporting role in the Telemundo telenovela Aurora.

As a model, she has appeared in several commercials and music videos for Elvis Crespo, El Cata, Cris Crab and Issa Gadala.

In 2012, she participated in the soap opera Corazón pasionado, giving life to the character of Rebeca and sharing credits with Marlene Favela, Guy Ecker and Susana Dosamantes.

In 2013 she joined the cast of the soap opera Rosario playing Cecilia, acting again with Guy Ecker and for the first time with Aarón Díaz, Lorena Rojas and Zuleyka Rivera.

In 2014 she participated in the telenovela Cosita Linda (adaptation of Cosita rica). She sharing credits with Christian Meier, Pedro Moreno, Ana Lorena Sánchez, Carolina Tejera and again with Zuleyka Rivera.

That same year she participates in the film Los Ocho, by Colombian director Famor Botero, playing Tina and sharing credits with Kimberly Dos Ramos, Martín Barba and again with Lorena Rojas.

Between 2014 and 2015, she got her first leading role in the soap opera Tierra de reyes, the new adaptation of the Colombian soap opera Las Aguas Mansas, playing Andrea del Junco and sharing credits with Gonzalo García Vivanco, Kimberly Dos Ramos, Christian de la Campa, Sonya Smith and again with Aarón Díaz and Ana Lorena Sánchez.

At the end of the year, Gruber participates in the film by Colombian director Gustavo Bolívar El Tattoo, starring Fabián Ríos and his wife Yuly Ferreira.

In 2016 she made a special participation in the Telemundo series El Chema, starring Mauricio Ochmann and Mariana Seoane, where she plays Blanca (young).

In 2017, she got the antagonistic role in the Nickelodeon series Vikki RPM playing Kira Rivera. Also in 2017, she recorded the series The Unknown where she played a singer named Karla Márquez.

After completing the recordings of Vikki RPM, she goes to Televisa to be part of the new production Sin tu mirada, produced by Ignacio Sada, where she plays Vanessa Villoslada.

In 2018 she joins the second season of the series The Unknown where she again plays Karla Marquez and shares credits with Guillermo Iván and María del Carmen Félix.

In 2019, she returns to work for Televisa in the new Güero Castro production called Médicos, linea de vida playing the R1 resident Tania Olivares, sharing credits with Livia Brito, Daniel Arenas and again with Carlos de la Mota and Osvaldo de León.
